OF THE DEAD
For this photographic series, I borrow a misnomer from Western academia used to describe Egyptian and Tibetan texts that serve as guides for traversing the intermediate period after death.
These photographs imagine the intertidal zone and its surrounds as that liminal space. Life and afterlife, death and rebirth, playing out literally and physically in our midst.
